Flashback Clip of the Day: In 2014, @BarackObama says crime and poverty do not justify an asylum claim pic.twitter.com/SorutFTXL9

No way Barack Obama could win the approval of progressive Democrats today. Listen to his 2014 comments on migrants seeking asylum based on crime and poverty in their homeland.
B.O. ain’t WOKE, y’all. The Squad (aka Jihad Squad, Facade Squad, Sistah Squad, and a thousand other names) or Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Ayanna Pressley are dragging older Democrat leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden to the far left, a losing strategy.
Omar has a Twitter trail of anti-Semitic comments. Tlaib, too, casts aspersions upon supporters of Israel. Pressley demands that people of color advocate only for their own people. Ocasio-Cortez is the main driver of the Green New Deal, an economically impossible climate change reboot.
Centrists still determine the outcome of elections. Their votes combined with extreme left or right positions add up to majorities. Fringe fanaticism is loud but that doesn’t guarantee victory. It’s the quiet ones who remain in charge.
This is the sound of illberalism, intolerance. Listen closely: it's a danger not just to immigrants and minorities but to all Americans. Put politics aside. Time for leaders from all parts of society, people from all walks of life, to step up and say: enough. https://t.co/ArYeu2KQu4

President Donald Trump’s rally crowd in North Carolina chanted “Send her back” as Trump talked about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s supposed “hatred” of America and anti-Semitic comments.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Trump “is onto something” in illustrating extreme positions of The Squad, but that their support of socialism is more widespread than just these four freshman congresswomen.
It’s not just a few fringe voices that are pushing socialist policies that would kill jobs and take away private healthcare. It’s the entire leadership of the Democratic Party. pic.twitter.com/tV3e0Hjshm

Identity politics have consumed The Squad, asking people to represent their own ethnicity above all other considerations.
Rep Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) “We don’t need any more brown faces that don’t want to be a brown voice. We don’t need black faces that don’t want to be a black voice. We don’t need Muslims that don’t want to be a Muslim voice. We don’t need queers that don’t want to be a queer voice” pic.twitter.com/2NIj5Vvcor

It seems as though The Squad’s criticism of America will be the driving force for Republicans running on patriotism through the 2020 election.
Will the $15 minimum wage legislation ever pass? Nope.
Research shows that hiking the minimum wage to $15 would kill jobs and depress the economy at a time when it’s thriving for the American people. We are not going to be taking that up in the Senate. pic.twitter.com/SiyXGBDKkr

The Squad wants America to pay the “marginalized” but there is little evidence that selective payouts will ever come to fruition.
ICYMI: The so-called “squad” thinks that America was wicked in its origins & is even more wicked today. They’re entitled to their opinion, but I’m entitled to my opinion too, & I think they’re left-wing cranks. They’re the reason there are directions on shampoo bottles. pic.twitter.com/6uY8j5uiXK

After all of America’s racial progress in the past 50 years, it seems that Barack Obama’s 2014 attitude makes him the stranger in a strange land today.
Meanwhile, The Squad faces rough sledding if they limit themselves to placating only those who look like them, worship like them, or rage like them.
