Attention, humans! We only have a few years left! Grownups have stolen Greta’s childhood! Hysteria! Outrage! Move to higher ground for the end!
Here’s one of the gentle messages from a Louisville student who ditched classes to participate in the #ClimateStrike on September 20, 2019.
Swedish activist Greta Thunberg sailed to New York to deliver harsh words to adults who’ve not heeded warnings about climate change. Greta fears that human life cannot be sustained on the earth beyond another decade.
"You have stolen my dreams and my childhood with your empty words," climate activist Greta Thunberg tells the UN. "We are in the beginning of a mass extinction and all you can talk about is money and fairy tales of eternal economic growth. How dare you." https://t.co/F5Umw55Y5Y pic.twitter.com/K0WxGCeU4A

She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see! https://t.co/1tQG6QcVKO

Sorry, you don't get to prop up a kid who has a disability and use them to promote your far-left agenda and proclaim, "You must listen to her, she is a genius!" and then in the next breath attack criticism of her by saying: "You can't criticize her because she has XYZ!"
Pick one

The hysteria of each generation is over the top. Everyone thinks they’re the first youth movement that is WOKE to various problems. Throwing shade at previous generations goes with the territory.
But check the history books, WOKIE WOKES. You didn’t invent the wheel. You also didn’t buy the expensive mobile devices that you use to debase the people who sacrificed to buy them for you. Your parents have lived through countless generations of WOKE thought.
That's me in my ecology shirt in 1970, Greta. We've been working on this for more than 50 years. Keep the faith. (NOTE: those aren't all Meiners sibs in the photo so save that overpopulation quip for a different thread) 🤣 pic.twitter.com/d7lV6qVItB

There is literally nothing new under the sun, just the way people react to changes.
