Today's Cancel Culture would blow a fuse trying to erase the careers of anyone involved in these 1970s sketches by the famed National Lampoon comedy troupe. Nat Lamp aired a syndicated weekly radio show in the 70s. Many of their most popular segments were later sold on albums. Here's one that would never see the light of day in this enlightened world. In the recording posted above, John Belushi interviews the very gay Charles Bronson (Christopher Guest), Clint Eastwood (Chevy Chase), and Lee Marvin (Steven Collins). Heads would explode in 2020 if comedians released this stinging mockery of LGBTQ people. But in the 1970s, being gay earned derision at the very least and violence at the very worst. Ricky Gervais pushes the WOKE army’s buttons again
Ricky Gervais is a fearless comedian who rips into Hollywood arrogance like no other. His most recent hosting job at the 2020 Golden Globes was close to brilliant in that it upsets just about everyone, a rarity in today's culture of snowflake sensitivity. Self-important, politically condescending, private jet flying, hypocritical Hollywood elites had to sit stone faced on a live NBC broadcast and quiver as Gervais scanned the room, methodically lancing the oversized egos of these pampered crybabies. It was gorgeous. God Bless the blunt truth telling of Ricky Gervais. That's a joke, of course, because Ricky Gervais is an avowed atheist. For Hollywood elites, Gervais's mockery of religion is his only saving grace. (That's another religion joke, BTW). The Apple
America’s team wins again, rolled by the Double A Train
The Dallas Cowboys were once known as America's team but their 1990s success has settled into consistently average performances. TV ratings get a bump whenever the Cowboys or Packers are featured, and both teams have great support on road games. So what happened this season when the two powerhouse franchises met? You already know that the Cowboys just lost again to the Green Bay Packers, the REAL America's team. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' record is 7-2 versus the Dallas Cowboys, including multiple wins in Dallas. Add in another Aaron (Jones) and the Cowboys are helpless against the Double A Train. Early season fears that Rodgers was not seeing eye-to-eye with first year Packers coach Matt LaFleur have been put to rest. Rodgers clearly

For some reason, who the players love is an important component of a story about global soccer excellence. Meh. We already discussed this. Science is science. Gays rule. @Ashlyn_Harris @alikrieger https://t.co/Q80L65O0OZ— Megan Rapinoe (@mPinoe) July 7, 2019 It is fantastic to see another American sports dynasty overpower all comers. Get it? Comers!
LGBTQ supporter vs dairy farmer: Are haircut prices discrimination?
At this year's Kentucky State Fair, an LGBTQ supporter spoke with a dairy farmer attending the Kentucky Farm Bureau's championship ham breakfast. Seems benign. KFB's anti-gay marriage stance is out of step with the law, but this quirky exchange (at 3:25 on the video) quickly swerved to the price of haircuts. Alrighty then. $600,000 was raised for charity in the ham auction. No heathen haircuts were administered. Our work is done! We are only left to assume that the dairy farmer was referring to his own haircut and not the price of grooming a cow.
