Trump’s crowd avoided the controversial SEND HER BACK chants aimed at Rep. Ilhan Omar and other members of The Squad. A reference to Hillary Clinton did generate a round of LOCK HER UP chants from the crowd.
Trump’s major themes to battle Democrats through the 15 months leading up to the 2020 election are “open borders,” socialism, decaying large cities run by Democrats, and wealth redistribution from American workers to immigrants.
“The era of economic surrender is over.”
Pres. Trump says he watched the "so-called debate last night," and "the Democrats spent more time attacking Barack Obama than they did attacking me, practically." https://t.co/wEGCSilFXy pic.twitter.com/Wi0zX0UjgS

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin met privately with Trump prior to the rally speech. Trump said from the stage that he will visit Kentucky before the November election to boost Bevin’s race against attorney general Andy Beshear.
Tonight in Cincinnati, @realDonaldTrump said @GovMattBevin tackled a pension system "a normal governor would never have been able to correct. (Bevin is) a great, great governor…and because I like him so much…Matt, get a nice, big arena ready. We're gonna do a rally for you." pic.twitter.com/rOiKW2A53q
