On the 2nd night of the Democrat debates in Miami, candidates all talked over each other trying to take command of the stage. In the following radio monologue, I predicted that none of the NBC anchors would hammer any Democrat the way Megyn Kelly crushed Donald Trump out of the gate in the 2015 Republican debate on Fox News.
I stand corrected. Megyn’s crushing of Trump is still in a league of its own, but Democrat-friendly NBC moderators did move beyond their usual fawning positions.
I was impressed by Rachel Maddow asking Mayor Pete Buttigieg about South Bend’s police racial problems. Buttigieg is the gay icon in this race and Maddow is a lesbian. She’s not going easy on an LGBTQ teammate.
Buttigieg brought home a strong point about religious hypocrisy.

Jose Diaz-Balart pressed Joe Biden on immigration after the former VP pretended as though his former administration did not start many of today’s border control issues.
Asked about deportations under Obama admin, Biden says undocumented immigrants who haven't committed any other crime shouldn't be "focus of deportation."
"President Obama, I think, did a heck of a job. To compare him to what this guy's doing is…I find, close to immoral."

NBC debate mod Diaz-Balart to Joe Biden: “The Obama/Biden administration deported 3 million people.”
Here’s then-President Barack Obama in 2014:

A bit later, Senator Harris hammered Biden on his 1970s rejection of school busing.

Here are all 10 candidates using too many words to answer a simple question about their first priority after taking office. (It’s like trying to control the Monday morning residents in juvey).

President Donald Trump was watching from Japan where he is attending the G-7 summit.
All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare. How about taking care of American Citizens first!? Thatโs the end of that race!
