This obviously dated video was snared from an open satellite feed as Diane Sawyer waited to go on the air during the ABC-TV show “PrimeTime Live.” Some celebrity web sites are making a big deal out of Diane sipping what appears to be red wine and then taking a pill from a prescription bottle.

During ABC-TV’s coverage of Election Night 2012, many speculated that Diane was tipsy.

Perhaps the most amusing part of the video is Diane referring to a news subject as “crazy” and then pantomiming drinking and snorting like an out of control partier.
