ZZ Top played a sold out show at Louisville's Iroquois Amphitheater on July 18. Bassist/vocalist Dusty Hill sat on a speaker stack for much of the show, forgoing the usual choreographed guitar swaying movements with bandmate Billy Gibbons. 🎸🎸 The next scheduled show, July 21st in Evansville, Indiana was canceled without explanation. Then the band's website posted this hopeful message about a quick return for the ailing Dusty Hill. On July 28, ZZ Top's social media posted this sobering message: "We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX.
