House Budget Committee Chairman Rep. John Yarmuth (KY-3) joined me on 840WHAS to add deeper context to the spending plans in the Biden Administration's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Mr. Yarmuth is the primary author of the legislation. Parts of it were retooled by the Senate but it was ultimately passed and signed into law last week. Republicans claim that only a fraction of the spending package is appropriately aimed at eradicating the COVID pandemic. Americans earning $75,000 individually or $150,000 filing jointly receive up to $1,400 per person in stimulus funds from ARPA. Extra cash and tax credits are added for additional family members. Here's Air France flying a Boeing 777 into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on a visual approach to runway 24 Right. Terrific graphics and excellent sound allows the viewer to observe the pilots at work running through the landing checklist while acknowledging vectors in one of America's busiest airports. If you can forgive the shaky camera work, this is a great look at a crew taking another Boeing 777 into Chicago O'Hare Airport (ORD) runway 10 Center. HEAVY, LOW, SLOW – United Airlines flight 328 suffers catastrophic engine failure, returns safely to Denver with no injuries
United Airlines flight 328 took off from Denver International Airport and soon suffered a catastrophic engine failure. Just after takeoff is the most challenging time for flight crews because the aircraft is heavy, low, and slow. Maneuverability is more challenging and higher altitude allows for more strategy time. It was a uncontained engine failure, meaning that the outer protective shell did not contain all the splintered engine parts within. Debris from the exploded engine and its protective cowling rained down on suburbs northwest of Denver. No one on the ground was injured. So one of Okulski's friends worked with Pepsi to trick his buddy in a command performance by Gordon. This time, the Hall of Fame race car driver was disguised as an ex-con driving a Yellow Cab.
